Meeting and Workshop Summaries

The Roundtable on Sustainable Forest organizes two types of events: meetings and workshops. Roundtable meetings are the less formal of the two. Their primary function is to inform Roundtable participants of the Roundtable's ongoing work and to solicit feedback and input to better inform the Roundtable process. In many cases, meeting participants hear from speakers or panels on topics of interest and learn about the projects and activities of other Roundtable organizations.

Roundtable workshops are more formal, structured events with specific goals and objectives. They are designed to produce a specific output for a specific purpose. Most Roundtable workshops are characterized by facilitated and balanced breakout groups that enhance the quality of dialogue and depth of feedback from workshop participants.

In the following sections, you will find summaries of many Roundtable meetings and workshops. If you need additional information or assistance, please contact Shawn Walker (info@sustainableforests.net).
